Sheily Navarro Caballero

Hello! My full name is Sheily Navarro Caballero and I was born and raised in Austin, Texas. I am currently a sophomore at Hendrickson High School in Pflugerville, Texas. I am the youngest of three siblings and have 2 pet parakeet birds. A female named Kiki and a male named Blu. I enjoy spending time with family and friends and getting to know new facts about them every time.

 

My interest for art first appeared a couple years ago when I discovered the freedom and expression it grants you. It is crazy to think of how one can express concern, sadness, anger, joy, and pure happiness by using set materials and creating rather than by using words. Similarly, I have also found a passion for dance. I belong to the varsity dance team at my school, the Silver Dancers, as well as the Teen Team at a studio named Infusion Dance. Through the movement of my body I am able to let go of the stresses of the outside world and truly be myself. Both forms of art have taught me how to be such a more thoughtful and sentimental person. I know to do everything with an intention and most importantly so much love which I hope you feel and get to see in my art.
